About Me
I was born in Quito, Ecuador, however, I consider my self a citizen of the world. Though I love my native country very much, I chose to expand my horizons and moved to the United States, where I have lived and work since 2004.
My father was a painter and I grew up surrounded by art. Naturally, I developed special interest, skill and taste for texture, colors and shapes.
After so many years of not taking my skills and my natural talent seriously, I conclude that the only way to be happy is doing what I really love, since that time I started building a career, plenty of setbacks, disappointments, but also full of great achievements and big expectations.
I see my life as a big canvas where I am painting every stage of my life, some parts are empty, some others covered in black, but most of this canvas is full of colors.
Cats are an amazing creatures, loved and revered by many cultures, as feared and mystified by others, for this and my deeply love to these beautiful animals I decided to capture in my paintings the soul and their beauty.
I have done Art studies in the Art Student League of NYC, Parsons School for Design in NYC, Academia de Artes Guerrero in Bogota-Colombia, Instituto Tecnoligico Equinoccial in Quito-Ecuador, Universidad Central in Quito-Ecuador.
I did many exhibits around USA, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Switzerland.
